LO Live a colorful life – Reto Up and Scrap

Hello everyone! Today I’m so glad to show you a very special Project. I’ve been thinking about doing it for a long time and thanks to a challenge by Up and Scrap I’ve finally committed and worked on it!

I wanted to combine two of the most important aspects of my life. On the one hand, scrapbooking has given me lots of happiness and has helped me on being more creative and thinking outside the box. On the other hand, there is Physics, the degree I’m studying that has thought me many thing in life, more than formulas and theorems.

So, as the challenge was about using the colors of the rainbow I’ve decided to face the reality of this fact and capture the physics of this phenomenon.

What I’m showing on this layout is the formation of the colors of the rainbow through the reflection and refraction of the light inside a raindrop. To create the background I’ve used a light blue gel pen from American Crafts to write the formulation of the problem. I like how subtle it looks!

I’ve also used some silver glittered paper to represent the white light and to create a part of the title and a few  little embellishments with some dies.

The tricky part of the layout has happened when representing the raindrop, the creator of the magic of the rainbow! I’ve used some vellum and colored twine and I’ve hidden the ends somewhere in the page ;). I’ve also stitched around the circle with light blue twine that I’ve matched with the stitching on the picture. Moreover, I’ve added some stitched details on grey to represent some significant lines and angles from the formulation. :P

The most colorful side of the layout has been created with some patterned paper from different collections. A trick to take into account when using a lot of different colored papers is to use some distress ink from the same color and blend it on the edges, it will make the colors stand out a lot more! Finally, I’ve added some stitched details on every color to continue with the twine on the raing¡drop. :)

Lastly, I’ve created the title with some grey twine that combies so well with all the other stitched elements and aldo with the glittered letters.

And that’s all I wanted to tell you about this Project. I’m happy you get to know me a little bit more. I’ve had so much fun combining the creativity of the scrapbooking and the accuracy of Physics. I believe that I’m going to create more projects like this one with other phenomenon because I’ve enjoyed it so much. What do you think about it? Let me know if you want to see some more projects like this!

¡Que seáis muy felices! ^^

Best wishes! ^^

Project Life Innsbruck - Feed your Craft

Hi everybody! I'm partially back from my exams and I finally had some time to scrap a little bit! Here you've got the result of some free time with beautiful patterned paper, bright inks and the amazing stamps from Feed your Craft! ^^

I used some 6x6' patterned papers from C'est la Vie by Pink Paislee and  Bloom by Crate Paper! I gave some life to the whole layout with bright pink, yellow and turquoise, love that color combo! ^^

First, I created my own journaling card with the stamp set Journal it from Feed your Craft! I stamped the word "travelogue" twice in black and gray and then I wrote the destination of the trip with a pink gel pen from American Crafts! ^^

I also used the little icons from that same stamp set to add some little accents that match perfectly with my pictures! On the picture above I used the fork and knife stamp to create a fun border and used the s rating stamp to document the typical food we ate there! :P

On this picture you can see how I created my own patterned paper with the plane stamp, it was just perfect to add with the picture of the time we spent flying! :D You can see that combining the stamps with your pictures you can get a more personal layout, with little details that will make it more special! ^^

So I hope you liked it and that you get to document all your memories and that you have fun usung bright colors and lots of stamps and inks! ^^

Best wishes!

Traveler's Notebook Wish List! - Feed your Craft

Hello everybody! How is your week going? I hope it is filled with love, creativity and beautiful things! ^^
Today I bring you a dreamy layout with the beautiful stamps and the cutest mini flairs from Feed your Craft! :D

I love this pages where you get to express your thoughts even if they are deeper feelings or just some silly ideas or wishes. And all you need to go along with it are some beautiful craft supplies that inspire you and make you happy! ^^

In this page I just wanted to write down some of my most sincere wishes and the Bold Alphabet Stamp was perfect for this. The size allows you to write all your thoughts because they aren't too big and at the same time you can see it very well because they aren't too small either. ;)

Another cute item that really inspires me and makes me happy when using them are the charming mini flairs. They are just like little candies and the saying on them from The Story Color Mini Flair pack are perfect for any time! ^^

And to tie all this page together I've used the dreamy papers from the collection C'est la vie from Pink Payslee. I love all the floras and the soft colors from it! ^^

So, I hope you got inspired to document your thoughts, because when your write them down they become more real and will help you see them with more perspective and clarity! :)

Best wishes to you all! ^^

And I couldn't use another kit but the beautiful kit designed by Lora Bailora! :D The designs are amazing and so cute! It is so useful for every occasion and it comes with a lot of embellishments apart from some incredible cards! ^^

I'm a big fan of using thickers and phrase stickers, they help you document our memories in an easy and fast way and as they are from the same kit, they are so easy to combine! ^^

To complete the kit I've also used some more stamps by Lora Bailora in gold embossing, 'cause there's never too much gold! ;)

It was a really nice and inspiring event, you just have to look at the sweet's table, I can tell you that everything was delicious! :P

Project Life Good Morning - Feed your Craft

Hello everybody! Today I'm here with a new project with beautiful stamps and cute mini flairs from Feed your Craft! ^^ I'm going to show you how to get them in different ways and use the most out of them! :D

First of all, I want to tell you all the things I've used! Of course, I've used two stamp sets from Feed your Crafts, one is called At home and the other Bold Alphabet and they are so versatile and perfect for every occasion! Then I've used the Currently and Meal Time mini flairs, I just love them! Finally, I've picked some cards and embellishments from Studio Calico, washi from Lora Bailora, stickers from Amy Tangerine and some ink!

One of the things I like doing is stamping directly on my photos! I just found out that the best ink for this in the Memento Tuxedo black ink, it looks just like it's printed!

Another thing you can do with your stamps when the pictures are more busy, is stamp on a piece of colored cardstock and adhere it on top! It looks so clean and it can help balance the colors of the entire page.
And one last thing you could do is create your own background using one same samp repeatedly. ^^

Finally, you can add the super cute mini flairs from Feed your Craft to create a journaling card or just to add a fun touch to your pictures! :)

So, that's all I wanted to show yoou from this page. I really like the look of it combining this bright pink with a soft blue and some touches of black! I love how dreamy it is! ^^

I hope you liked it and got inpired to document all your memories! :D

Best wishes!

Traveler's Notebook Relax - Feed Your Craft

Hi everybody! ^^ How is your week going? I hope you'll have some time to relax and enjoy your day! :D
Today I'm here to show you a Traveler's notebook page I've made as part of the Feed your Craft Creative Team! ^^

For this project I've used the amazing stamp set At home from Feed your Craft! It is perfect to document your everyday life but it is also so versatile with all the little word it has! ^^

I had a lot of fun creating this background with different inks and gold embossing, and all with the same stamp set! And just using different ink colors you could just get a totally different look to match your story! ^^

Another thing I really like about this stamp set is that combines a handwritten font and a more graphic one, which match perfectly and let you create many different kinds of projects! :)

So I hope you like this page and get inspired to use your stamps to create backgrounds in a lot of different ways! ^^

Best wishes! ^^
